98 things about me

I saw this on a friend of a friends blog and I loved the idea. Except, she had 100 things about herself. I thought - this should be easy. Well, it hasn't been so simple. I've been working on this list for about 6 months now and I can only think of 98 things. So....my list will be titled "98 things about me". :)

This should be fun to look at in a few years. I wonder how many things will change?!

1.       I don’t share an umbrella very well.
2.       The spelling of my name came from a wrench, that’s right a tool.
3.       I don’t like nuts (any type of nut….cashews, pecans, walnuts, etc). I’m not allergic to them, I just don’t like them. I think it’s a texture thing.
4.       I don’t like mushrooms or onions.
5.       I need my sleep, preferably 7-8 hrs a night.
6.       I still try not to step on a crack (remember the ‘step on a crack, break your mother’s back’)?! You’re welcome mom!
7.       I’m a rule follower – but since living in California, I’ve loosened up a bit. Not quite sure why.
8.       I tend to speed when driving.
9.       I prefer even numbers over odd numbers.
10.   I am obsessed when it comes to flat ironing my hair – I can’t miss one piece.

Celebrating 5 years of marriage!

I can't believe we've already been married 5 years! Wow! I will never forget when I realized that Greg was "the one". I always heard about "the one" and "when you know, you know" but I never believed it. Well, it happened and when it did, I just knew!

It was like yesterday when we shared our first kiss, held hands for the first time, when he asked me to marry him on his birthday, and the day I walked down the aisle towards him. I really just wanted to run down the aisle - I couldn't get to him fast enough!

Our wedding.....my goodness, how I loved our wedding! We had so much fun! We danced, ate, drank, laughed and danced some more. We had all of our loved ones around us wishing us nothing but the best.

It's 5 years later and we have an almost 2 year old (OMG) and we live in California. Life is a funny thing, isn't it?! You never know where it's going to take you. But the good news is....Greg will be by my side for the ride!

Here's to many many many more years together. Yep, that's right Greg....you're stuck with me!! I love you!!

First shiner

We can now say that Carson has had his first black eye. Earlier this week he fell in his playroom and knocked his eye on the shelf. This picture doesn't really show how black his eye got, but you can see the cut and a little bruising...poor little guy.
